"Project Runway" returned to Lifetime Thursday night, but things looked a little different on "Project Runway All Stars."
While
all of the contestants were people we'd seen before -- naturally,
considering the "all stars" part of the title -- the casting change-up
instead came via a new host, mentor and judging panel.
Naturally,
we're wondering what to make of this role reversal. Was it strange
seeing a different blonde supermodel greet our designers, especially
since we've seen all the contestants interact with Heidi? Angela Lindvall
might be similar to Heidi on the surface (blonde, stunningly gorgeous,
occasional TV personality), but did she fill the German beauty's
stilettos? Or would you rather say auf wiedersehen to the new girl?
Then there's new mentor Joanna Coles, editor in chief of Marie Claire. How does she compare to Tim Gunn? Not enough catchphrases? Too British?
And as for new judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman: Did they critique enough? Were they too nice? Too harsh?
Basically,
we want to know what you thought of the slightly revamped format. Oh,
and there are also those contestants to think about. Who are you rooting for to make it all the way?
